A Global News investigation is looking into a connection between the Indian government and a notorious Indian gang police believe is operating in Canada. We’re learning more about the alleged contract killers behind the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Jeff Semple has more on what he’s uncovered. The U.S. isn’t the only country concerned about Indian intimidation and threats on home soil. Since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stood up in the House of Commons this fall accusing agents of the Indian state of orchestrating the murder of Nijjar, several other countries have come forward. In the Middle East, there are reports that talks have intensified toward a ceasefire deal in Gaza and a release of Israeli hostages. A Hamas delegation is in Cairo for talks led by mediators of the United States and Qatar who have reported signs of compromise in recent days.
